Intermediate 8 week course

Lidded forms, repetition throwing, perfecting handles and the opportunity for your own project. This 8 week wheel throwing course levels up your skills exploring more complex forms and refining existing skills. It’s perfect if you’ve already attended the 7 week course.
It is made up of eight 2.5 hour classes and suitable for potters looking to improve their skills. Please book if you can fairly confidently throw a 500g cylinder and centre a kilo of clay.
All sessions will run from my studio in Southsea, Portsmouth, PO5.

The first weeks usually run consecutively. There will usually be a week’s break to get your pots dried & fired. Then week 8 will be glazing your pots before the final firing.
This is a small class of no more than 4 students so there is plenty of time and attention for everyone.

The final glaze firing will take place after the course has finished and pots will be available to collect approximately 3-4 weeks after the last date.

Please check you are able to attend all the dates of the course, it won’t be possible to swap days to make up missed sessions. Please check the listing for each course to double check dates.

Minimum age is 16. If you are unable to attend the workshop after booking please get in contact. Refunds or an alternative date can only be arranged up to 14 days before the booked date. Any refund issued will be minus 2% transaction fee.
