A full day intermediate wheel throwing course. 10am - 4pm
Suitable for potters with some experience who are able to centre up to 500g of clay and looking to build on existing skills.
We will focus on throwing consistent cylinders and how to make the most of the clay, making galleries and lids, and practise handle making.
Participants will have the opportunity to keep their best work, but the focus of the day is practise to help you improve your throwing. So expect to cut some of your pots in half! Kept pots will be glazed and fired to collect at a later date.
Refreshments and a simple vegetarian lunch of soup, bread & salads is provided.
