A day in beautiful Hampshire woodland firing pottery in a raku kiln. Set in private ancient woodland near Clanfield, Hampshire. Precise location will be sent after booking. The workshop is usually on a Friday.
Numbers are limited to maintain a small and intimate group workshop.
We will meet in the woods and walk to the site together and spend the day immersed in the woodland learning about various glazing techniques for raku.
You will learn how to safely fire your pots and experience the exciting process of raku.
You will have 2 or 3 pots to take home at the end of the day (fingers crossed, raku can be perilous!)
Pots and all glazes and materials will be provided.
